\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Matthew H. Bowker, Ph.D. (M.H. Bowker) is an internationally recognized scholar at the intersection of psychology and political theory. He is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University at Buffalo (SUNY) and an Adult Learner Success Coach at SUNY-Niagara. For more than twenty\u2011five years, he has taught, supervised research, and led seminars in U.S. and international universities.<\/p>

Bowker has authored 20+ books (published or forthcoming) and 40+ peer\u2011reviewed articles and chapters that span theory, pedagogy, and public life. He founded and co\u2011edits Routledge\u2019s book series, Psychoanalytic Political Theory<\/em>, and he serves in several editorial capacities, including Editor (North America) of the Journal of Psycho\u2011Social Studies <\/em>and Associate Editor of Psychoanalysis, Culture & Society<\/em>, as well as on editorial boards for multiple journals.<\/p>

Recognized for advancing subject\u2011centered, reflexive pedagogy, Bowker was appointed a Fulbright Specialist in \u201cTwenty\u2011First\u2011Century Learning\u201d by the U.S. Department of State. In that role, he trained faculty and staff on critical thought and subjectivity-development at a leading university in Singapore, designing practicable frameworks for dynamic, learner\u2011driven teaching.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

He has delivered 50+ keynote talks at national and international conferences and professional development programs on critical thinking, subjectivity, and group\/organizational dynamics.<\/p>

His work and commentary have appeared on NPR and in national publications including The Atlantic<\/em> and Elle.<\/em><\/p>
